About us

Representa is a Texas non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation focusing on organizing Hispanic cultural events to raise funds to help disadvantaged children. All your donations are Tax deductible while promoting cultural awareness.

Our Mission

“Through cultural events Representa will raise funds to provide opportunities and support for under privileged children locally and in Latin America. Using intercultural education we will increase tolerance and understanding and showcase the beauty of Latino culture in the arts. We aim to build on our local success and expand strategically so we may help more young people throughout the Latin American world. ”

In low income communities around the world there are gifted and willing children who lack the financial resources to participate or pursue a dream in the arts. In the US there is a lack of awareness and appreciation of the broader multicultural aspects of Latin America which helps to divide us.

Our ambition is to grow an organization that engages underprivileged children and young people in a meaningful and impactful way by educating them in the arts allowing them to build confidence and pride as they express themselves. As a result, these young people are positively affected in their personal lives. These activities will additionally broaden awareness and appreciation for the Latin community and culture.
